Overview

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our growing and dynamic Immigration Law Department in our Minneapolis office, with the opportunity to work remotely in a hybrid environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, an interest in immigration law, and a passion for helping clients through the immigration process.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Work closely with attorneys to prepare a variety of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions on behalf of employers and foreign nationals including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERMs, I-140, and I-485 petitions.
  • Prepare family-based petitions and naturalization applications.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Organize and manage confidential client data, deadlines, and documents.
  • Conduct legal research as needed to support case preparation.
  • Monitor and track case progress to ensure timely filings and/or responses to USCIS.
  • Assist attorneys and other team members with case management, including reporting needs and other case management duties as needed.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Adobe, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of immigration-related case management database is a plus.
  • 2+ years' experience in immigration law or similar preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • A Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
