Paralegal - Medical Malpractice

Description

We are partnering with a busy and growing downtown Minneapolis law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a focus on medical malpractice defense. This firm handles complex civil defense cases and is looking for a skilled professional to support attorneys through all stages of litigation.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage all aspects of case preparation, including drafting and organizing pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.

+ Review, summarize, and organize large volumes of medical records and case materials.

+ Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel.

+ Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.

+ Track case deadlines, court filings, and compliance with procedural rules.

+ Conduct legal research and summarize findings as needed.

+ Maintain accurate and organized case files using case management software.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 4-10+ years of complex litigation experience, with preference for medical malpractice or healthcare litigation backgrounds.

+ Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and rules.

+ Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
