Job title: SAP FICO BA / Functional Lead
Location: Minneapolis, MN - onsite
Duration: 6 months Contract to hire
SAP System Management- Own and lead the process design, configuration, build, test, and integration of the SAP Finance value stream.
- Manage integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and external systems.
- Oversee system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Successfully implement SAP on-time and within budget.
- Drive SAP Finance workstream and provide thought leadership, best practices, and subject matter expertise.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Production, and Procurement.
- Manage external consultants and vendors as needed.
- Analyze current financial processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Apply industry leading best practices and detail global standard templates for the implementation and long-term growth.
- Implement best practices in financial reporting, controlling, and compliance.
- Manage financial processes related to production costing, inventory management, and fixed asset accounting.
- Collaborate with plant controllers and operations teams to align SAP functionality with shop floor realities.
- Ensure accurate cost center accounting and product costing for manufacturing lines.
- Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Digital, and other business units.
- Collaborate and communicate with business stakeholders, understand business requirements and provide deep SAP S4 Functional expertise.
- Provide training and support to end-users and ensure high adoption of SAP tools.
- Ensure SAP systems support internal controls and regulatory compliance (e.g., JSOX, IFRS).
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for all SAP Finance processes.
