Test Lead

The Ash Group is hiring a Test Lead for our client, a major electricity and natural gas utility provider. This is a 12-month contract role, working in Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid) offering a pay rate of $67 per hour W2 based on skill set.

• Compensation: $67/hr W2

• Lead testing efforts including writing and executing SIT and UAT test cases.
• Manage testers, maintain JIRA space, and report testing status to PMs and leadership.
• Execute and manage test cases.
• Run daily or twice-daily testing meetings.
• Interface with PMs, BAs, architects, and vendors.
• Maintain dashboards and contribute to project team activities.

• Strong communication and executive presence.
• Ideally 7+ years of experience in large enterprise environments.
• Strong JIRA experience (setup and execution).
• Waterfall methodology experience is a must.
• Utility experience preferred.
• Experience writing test cases (no automation or scripting).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
