Life Source is hiring a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to serve as the enterprise owner of the organization's LMS and learning technology ecosystem. This role is accountable for system performance, data integrity, compliance, and user experience, ensuring the LMS operates as a scalable, reliable, and strategically aligned platform. In addition to deep LMS administration expertise, this role brings strong learning technology judgment and contributes selectively to instructional design to elevate the effectiveness of digital learning solutions.

As a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, you'll advance our life-saving work by performing the following job duties:

Enterprise LMS Ownership
  • Own the configuration, administration, and optimization of the LMS, including licensing, vendor management, integrations, and system enhancements.
  • Ensure platform stability, data accuracy, version control, and audit-ready reporting in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Lead system deployments, upgrades, testing cycles, and user enablement, including training resources and documentation.
  • Establish and oversee LMS governance, including standardized processes, policies, and controls that ensure consistent, efficient system use. Manage content lifecycle and archiving practices to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor system performance and adoption, translating insights into targeted improvements and innovation opportunities.
Learning Technology & Innovation
  • Evaluate and implement new LMS modules, tools, and integrations that improve scalability, usability, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the LMS vendor, IT, internal educators, and business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline learning workflows and modernize digital learning infrastructure.
Instructional Design Partnership
  • Partner with subject matter experts to support the design of high-impact digital learning experiences and assessments.
  • Ensure learning content aligns with adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Support measurement of learning effectiveness through data, assessments, and performance indicators.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to Training and Education Program Administrators (TEPAs) to strengthen their understanding and application of instructional design principles.
Stakeholder Leadership
  • Build trusted partnerships across departments to align learning systems with organizational strategy and operational goals.
  • Provide clear recommendations to leadership on system enhancements, risks, and long-term learning technology direction.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to 10 years of learning and development , LMS, or instructional design.
  • Previous UKG and instructional design experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience with configuring dashboards and reporting.
  • Experience with data integrity, compliance, and supporting audit requests.
  • Strong experience with learning systems integration and user experience optimization.
  • Knowledge of instructional design fundamentals and evaluation methodologies.
  • Strong analytical judgment, stakeholder influence, and execution discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to exhibit a high degree of quality, integrity, and honor confidentiality of appropriate information including, but not limited to, personal team member data, organizational operations or work processes, donor and donor family information, contributor details, any financial information and medical or protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven skilled and competent in using technology-based tools such as personal computers and related software, mobile devices, and electronic medical record systems, as appropriate for position.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
SCHEDULE/WORK CONDITIONS:
  • Full-time exempt position. Primary schedule Monday-Friday business hours.
  • This position is hybrid on-site in Minneapolis. It is not available as a remote role.
Projected offer rate range: $85-105k/year, based on relevant experience.
