Position Summary

We are seeking a Transformational Financial Controller (Business Analyst II) to join our project delivery team. This role is ideal for a motivated and growth-oriented Business Analyst who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to contribute to the analysis, design, and rollout of new hardware and end-user technologies.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in business analysis, experience partnering with end users, and the ability to effectively translate business needs into actionable technical requirements. Experience supporting end-user services (laptops, printers, and productivity tools such as Copilot) is highly desirable.
This role supports enterprise technology initiatives focused on end-user hardware and tools. The Business Analyst II will work closely with project managers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined, validated, and successfully delivered.
Key Responsibilities- Partner in a team environment to support the analysis, design, and rollout of new hardware and end-user technologies
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements to drive effective problem resolution
- Act as a communication liaison between multiple business stakeholders and IT teams
- Create and execute test scenarios/scripts to validate requirements and ensure traceability from requirements through validated results
- Provide task-level status updates to the project manager and team as required
- Support project deliverables based on project phase and timelines set by the project manager
Work activities will vary depending on the project phase and deliverables. Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting stakeholder meetings to gather requirements
- Documenting business and functional requirements
- Creating test plans and scripts
- Coordinating with IT teams during design and implementation
- Providing status updates and tracking milestone progress
Priorities and deadlines will be established by the Project Manager.

Work Schedule- Full-time
- Standard corporate business hours
- Hybrid schedule (Tuesday–Thursday in office; contractors may have additional flexibility)
Hybrid work model at Xcel corporate offices. Parking ramps available near office locations. Daily parking expenses are the responsibility of the contractor. Local candidates preferred; non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expense may be considered.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience
- Strong experience eliciting and documenting business requirements
- Experience creating test scripts and validating requirements
Strong ability to estimate timelines and meet target dates - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with business stakeholders and IT resources
- Experience working within large corporate environments with multiple operating companies and business units
- Experience supporting End User Services (laptops, printers, productivity tools such as Copilot)
- Self-starter with a proactive, positive attitude and strong learning agility
