Systems Administrator
Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN
. Responsibilities include installing and configuring platforms across on‑prem and cloud environments and performing ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and remediation activities.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Install, configure, and maintain Informatica Power Center and Data Quality platforms across on‑prem and AWS environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, resolve alerts, and perform remediation activities independently.
- Execute migrations, upgrades, and configuration changes while ensuring system stability and adherence to industry standards for backup, recovery, and security.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure using automation and IaC tools such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Vagrant, and Test‑Kitchen.
- Support large‑scale distributed environments on Red Hat Linux, Amazon Linux, and related platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain platform reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Informatica Administration (Power Center).
- Strong expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining Informatica platforms across on‑prem and cloud (AWS) environments.
- Experience with automation and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
