Akkodis is seeking an IT Infrastructure Server Delivery Manager for a Contract job with a client in Minneapolis, MN (Onsite). The ideal candidate will oversee end‑to‑end server infrastructure delivery across Windows, Linux, Unix, and database platforms while leading a team of engineers and managing complex infrastructure projects.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of physical and virtual server infrastructure projects, including provisioning and deployment.
- Manage daily operations across Windows, Linux, Unix, and database platforms.
- Ensure server infrastructure meets SLAs and operational performance targets.
- Coordinate maintenance windows and change management activities to minimize disruption.
- Lead and mentor server engineers and administrators, providing technical direction and performance oversight.
- Allocate resources to meet project and operational requirements.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one‑on‑one check‑ins.
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
- Develop timelines, resource plans, and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and provide updates to senior leadership.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Serve as liaison between Command Center teams and tower leads.
- 7+ years of server infrastructure management and operations experience.
- 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server and Linux/Unix OS.
- Experience with virtualization tools such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Power Shell, Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of server hardware, storage, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with monitoring and management tools.
- Strong project management knowledge (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Preferred: PMP, ITIL, MCSE, VCP, AWS/Azure certifications.
