IT Infrastructure Server Delivery Manager

Akkodis is seeking an IT Infrastructure Server Delivery Manager for a Contract job with a client in Minneapolis, MN (Onsite). The ideal candidate will oversee end‑to‑end server infrastructure delivery across Windows, Linux, Unix, and database platforms while leading a team of engineers and managing complex infrastructure projects.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour.

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of physical and virtual server infrastructure projects, including provisioning and deployment.
• Manage daily operations across Windows, Linux, Unix, and database platforms.
• Ensure server infrastructure meets SLAs and operational performance targets.
• Coordinate maintenance windows and change management activities to minimize disruption.
• Lead and mentor server engineers and administrators, providing technical direction and performance oversight.
• Allocate resources to meet project and operational requirements.
• Conduct regular team meetings and one‑on‑one check‑ins.
• Plan and execute infrastructure projects including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
• Develop timelines, resource plans, and collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and provide updates to senior leadership.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Serve as liaison between Command Center teams and tower leads.

• 7+ years of server infrastructure management and operations experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server and Linux/Unix OS.
• Experience with virtualization tools such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Power Shell, Ansible, Terraform).
• Knowledge of server hardware, storage, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring and management tools.
• Strong project management knowledge (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Preferred: PMP, ITIL, MCSE, VCP, AWS/Azure certifications.
