Database Administrator

• Develop strategies for database backups, recovery, and security.
• Optimize database performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Install and configure database management software on various servers.
• Provide support and consultation to development teams on database-related queries.
• Act as a technical point of contact for team members needing escalation support.
• Coordinate with engineers for database maintenance and setup activities.
• Implement monitoring systems to ensure peak database performance.

• Proven experience in administering Oracle databases, particularly versions 12.2 and 19c.
• Strong knowledge in Oracle Data Guard replication and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Oracle Recovery Manager for backup and recovery tasks.
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager and related installations.
• Excellent analytical skills to address and solve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

• Experience with database migration in non-production settings.
• Background in the airline industry or related sectors is advantageous.
• Knowledge of operating systems and networking tools relevant to database management.
• Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
