Business Analyst - Informatica, Client & Reference Data

• Contract type: 6-12 month contract to hire
• Location: On site 4 days per week in Minneapolis

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Business Analyst that will support a data‑focused product and delivery team responsible for Informatica client data, reference data, and broader master data initiatives within Wealth Management. The team requires a BA who can immediately strengthen requirements gathering, documentation, and user story quality while partnering closely with developers, data SMEs, and leadership.

This role is critical to maintaining momentum on Informatica work and supporting ongoing SaaS migration activities.

• Partner with product and delivery leads to translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop UAT test plans and scenarios from a business‑first perspective; support execution and defect triage.
• Work directly with developers to clarify requirements, refine stories, and break work into subtasks.
• Conduct needs analysis and documentation for client data, reference data, and MDM related initiatives.
• Perform SQL scripting for post‑implementation validation, UAT support, and data analysis.
• Maintain high‑quality documentation across projects, filling current gaps caused by limited Scrum Master bandwidth.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, including offshore teams, to ensure alignment on deliverables.
• Support product and delivery leadership in planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
• Assist with SaaS migration activities as bandwidth allows.
• Contribute to a stable and scalable data environment aligned with evolving AI‑driven organizational priorities.

• Strong user story writing and backlog refinement skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical direction for development teams.
• Experience writing UAT test plans and supporting business‑driven testing.
• Solid understanding of Informatica customer MDM
  , reference/master data management, and financial services data.
• SQL scripting experience for testing and data validation.
• Excellent documentation habits and ability to create clarity in complex environments.
• Strong communication, time management, and foundational professional skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams.
