Solutions Architect, Automotive & Manufacturing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is searching for experienced and motivated technologists who blend deep technical expertise with business insight and strong people skills. In this role you will create impact by educating, designing, and building cloud solutions across a broad range of technologies. Your deep understanding of large‑scale computing and enterprise adoption patterns will enable you to engage in thoughtful design conversations and produce world‑class solutions that deliver measurable business value.

You will act as a trusted customer advocate. Working closely with senior leaders and cloud architects, you’ll help our global enterprise customers develop technology strategies, design advanced cloud‑based solutions, implement best‑practice architectures, and migrate legacy workloads to AWS. Collaborating with diverse AWS teams, you’ll craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that solve business problems and accelerate adoption of AWS services.

You’ll also partner with the sales team to drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Open to traveling 25% domestically with some international travel.

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
• 4+ years of experience in a specific technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries

• Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• 3+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
