Summary
We are seeking a QA Engineer to support a collaborative, fast-moving engineering team. This role involves working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple Web applications and systems. The ideal candidate takes initiative, communicates effectively, and thrives in an environment where priorities evolve rapidly.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Web applications and related services.
* Build and enhance UI and API automation.
* Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, product owners, and external vendors.
* Define test strategies and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements.
* Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure end-to-end application quality.
* Analyze test results, document findings, and partner with teams to resolve defects.
* Support test data preparation, environment readiness, and continuous QA process improvements.
* Participate in and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Requirements
* 1+ year of experience designing and executing automated test suites for Web applications.
* Hands-on experience with test automation tools.
* Solid understanding of QA methodologies across UI, API, and integration testing.
* Familiarity with Cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure) and ability to validate Cloud-executed automation.
* Ability to write and execute SQL queries for test data creation and validation.
* Experience with Azure-based automation frameworks and tooling.
* Experience using commercial test automation tools and scripting in JavaScript or C#.
* Strong SQL query-writing and troubleshooting skills.
* Testing background involving custom applications and data integrations.
* Experience bridging QA and development teams including supporting custom automation frameworks.
This is a hybrid one-year Contract opportunity with the potential to convert with our MN client.
