One of the major American airlines is looking for a Technical Product Owner to join their Hybrid team in Minneapolis, MN!
This is an exciting opportunity to drive end-to-end product delivery in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing product backlogs, partnering with cross-functional teams, and translating business needs into actionable technical requirements while guiding teams toward higher Agile maturity.
Contract Duration: 12-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion
Required Skills & Experience- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Technical Product Owner role
- Familiarity with software development environments
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Good knowledge of additional Agile frameworks
- Strong communication and servant leadership skills
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives while managing scope and timelines
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating roadmap items into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, analytics, and business stakeholders) to drive product delivery from concept to launch
- Identify and remove delivery risks, resolve team impediments, and ensure sprint deliverables meet quality standards
- Track product performance post-launch and collaborate with stakeholders to refine roadmap, priorities, and future enhancements
