The Role
The Ovative Group Analyst, Digital Marketing & Measurement is an early-stage leadership role at a fast-growing company with high standards for talent, client success, and a positive culture. The right candidate will be highly analytical, possess strong critical thinking skills, and be motivated by driving results for clients.
At the Analyst level, each candidate will be paired with a Digital Marketing & Measurement business area aligned with their skillset and interests, where they will perform heavy data analysis and help execute and manage media programs for clients.
The Analyst ExperienceAnalysts will be assigned to one primary focus area but will have opportunities to gain experience across Ovative Group’s practice areas, including Marketing Strategy, Analytics & Activation. The following outlines the onboarding and early experiences:
- Primary focus areas determined collectively and shared 1-2 weeks before start date.
- Additional information on teams/focus areas will be provided, with time for preferences to be recorded.
- Analysts will undergo a robust onboarding bootcamp to gain a big-picture view of the business, history, and vision.
- Analysts will meet with senior leaders for project work and informational interviews.
Responsibilities may vary based on available projects and practice areas.
- Subject Matter Expertise:
Actively develop competence in a specific Ovative subject matter (e.g., media, measurement, strategy). - Hands-on digital media planning, execution, and optimization, including:
- A/B testing
- Landing page testing recommendations
- On-page & Off-page optimization
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Budget and goal pacing
- Creative builds, testing & optimization
- Audience creation & optimization
- Promotion support
- Heavy data analysis, reporting & insights of digital media performance
- Cross-channel campaign planning, strategy, plan documentation, execution and optimization
- Structured Problem-solving, Analysis & Communication:
Execute discrete pieces of analyses using tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) and translate insights into client-ready communications.
- Leadership Development:
Manage work independently with initial direction from manager; regularly speak up, ask questions, and share your POV.
Client management:
Understand the client’s business/industry and how work connects to broader project goals; strive to deliver high-impact client interactions and support in developing client-facing solutions and deliverables, including PowerPoint pitches and competitive/landscape audits.
