AI & Power Platform Lead

The AI & Power Platform Lead will establish and drive a Centre of Excellence for Microsoft Power Platform and AI capabilities (including Copilot, AI Foundry, and related technologies). This role combines technical leadership with strategic enablement to accelerate AI adoption and Power Platform innovation across the organization.

• Assist with defining and executing the organization s AI adoption roadmap, aligning with business objectives.
• Lead development of AI agents, workflows, and prompt engineering to automate andoptimizeprocesses.
• Establish governance for responsible AI use, ensuring compliance, security, and ethical standards.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies (Copilot, Azure AI, AI Foundry) and integrate them into enterprise solutions as agreed.
• Lead inestablishinga Centre of Excellence. Promote best practices, reusable components, and knowledge sharing
• Support teams by leading discovery workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions
• Create reusable AI components and frameworks to accelerate delivery across teams.
• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Manage and enhance governance tools like theCoEToolkit.
• Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Net Suite, GTM systems, and other business tools.
• Build custom Canvas and Model-Driven apps; configure connectors and automation flows.
• Develop a community to support AI adoption across the business to enableknowledgesharing and effective delivery
• Partner with business units toidentifyopportunities for AI-driven transformation.
• Support UAT, deployment, training, and post-go-live troubleshooting for AI and Power Platform solutions.

• Document AI architecture, workflows, security roles, and governance models.
• Ensure all solutions meet accessibility, security, and compliance standards.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Scienceorrelevantexperience.
• 7+ years in informationtechnologyroles, with at least 3 yearsresponsible for Power Platform, DataandAI
• Hands On experience managing
  
  Power Platform usingCoEToolkit
• Hands-on experience developing AI agents, workflows, and prompt engineering.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, ethical AI principles, and security.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities with Power Platform and enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Azure AI services, machine learning concepts, and data-driven automation.
• Hands-on experiencedevelopingacross the Microsoft Power Platform, coupled with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong understanding of business analysis, digitaltransformationand agile methodologies.
• Experience integrating Power Platform and CoPilot with Salesforce,SharePoint,Confluence, Azure
  
  AI/Dataservicesand 3rdparty applications via API sor MCP
• Ability togather requirements and translate into deliverable AI capabilities using available tools
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in AI and automation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of low-code governance and industry best practice and application
• Version control tools like Github, Bitbucket or similar
• Application Lifecycle Management, using Azure Dev Ops or similar
• Familiarity with project delivery frameworks such as GDS (UK), PRINCE2, or ITIL.
• Strong influencing and communication skills to guide technical and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AI ethics frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, AI Act).
• Ability to foster innovation whilemaintainingsecurity and compliance.
