We are seeking a Website Merchandiser to help optimize the customer experience on , improve key website KPIs, and support the ongoing growth of our e‑commerce business.

Role Overview

The Website Merchandiser supports the execution and ongoing improvement of ERIK'S e‑commerce site. This role focuses on product presentation, site usability, and performance optimization, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the website meets the customer and business needs. This role partners closely with internal Marketing, Content, and Product teams, as well as external technology and agency partners.

While not a web development role, the ideal candidate understands development lift and technical constraints well enough to prioritize work effectively and communicate clearly with technical teams. Internal advancement opportunities exist for candidates that are hired and demonstrate an ability to grow the areas they are responsible for.

Key Responsibilities Website Merchandising & Product Content
  • Maintain and organize the online product catalog, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product data.
  • Collaborate with Product, Content, and Marketing teams to ensure product pages are informative, easy to shop, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Execute on‑site merchandising updates such as featured products, category organization and seasonal collections.
  • Support ongoing improvements to product discovery and navigation.
Website Performance & Optimization
  • Support day‑to‑day management of  with a focus on improving conversion rate, engagement, and online revenue.
  • Monitor key website KPIs and help identify opportunities to improve the customer shopping experience.
  • Assist with implementing site updates, enhancements, and merchandising improvements.
  • Partner with internal teams to test and refine changes that improve usability and performance.
Cross‑Functional & Partner Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal Marketing, Content, Product, and Technology teams to support shared goals.
  • Help coordinate requests and updates with external partners and vendors as needed.
  • Communicate clearly around priorities, timeliness, and dependencies.
Platform & Tools Management
  • Assist with day‑to‑day use of ERIK'S Shopify platform from a merchandising and content perspective.
  • Support improvements to product data workflows and tools, including PIM systems (experience strongly preferred).
  • Gain exposure to development workflows and technical considerations to help scope and prioritize work.
Reporting & Data Analysis
  • Track and report on website performance metrics including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, and product performance.
  • Build and maintain Excel‑based reports to support analysis and decision‑making.
  • Use data and insights to recommend incremental improvements to the site experience.
Required Qualifications
  • 2‑4+ years of experience in e‑commerce, website merchandising, or digital content management, preferably in retail or specialty retail.
  • Experience working in or supporting an e‑commerce platform (Shopify or similar preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with product data and content.
  • Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, digital media and performance metrics.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn as tools, platforms, and customer expectations evolve.
  • Results‑driven mindset with a clear focus on revenue and customer experience.
