What you’ll do at Jamf- Develop, deploy, and maintain production environments by applying automation, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, Serverless, and Containerization.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into system designs and configurations.
- Assist in evaluating, planning, configuring, and implementing new software services.
- Develop custom tools and automation through programming and scripting.
- Support Software Development by maintaining and scaling our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment.
- Apply Data Lifecycle Management to sensitive data through backups, permissions management, and auditing.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation, triage and escalation of alerts, and assist with disaster recovery as necessary for services the team owns.
- Contribute to an Agile team by performing code reviews, velocity estimation, planning, and other Agile workflow activities.
- Work and communicate effectively with Product Owners, Development teams, and Cloud & Delivery teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Perform other duties as required and complete all job functions per departmental policies and procedures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in at least one of the following (required):
- Continuous Integration Tools and Techniques (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, Git Hub Actions)
- Configuration Management and Deployment Tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Systems Administration focused on performance analysis, capacity planning, and forecasting
- Minimum 2 years as a power user of various operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS) (required).
- Minimum 2 years experience in a current programming language such as Python or Golang (required).
- Minimum 2 years experience using Source Control Management tools such as Git or Subversion (required).
- Experience with containerization concepts and Kubernetes (required).
- Experience building and maintaining cloud native services on Amazon Web Services (required).
- Preferred: 2+ years using issue tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
- Preferred:
Experience developing enterprise‑grade software and understanding the software development life cycle. - Preferred:
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation. - Preferred:
Experience in enterprise security and hardening best practices. - Preferred:
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Logic Monitor, Sumologic, ELK). - Preferred:
Experience with structured databases such as MySQL or Dynamo
DB. - Hands‑on experience with AI‑driven coding assistants like Git Hub Copilot or Cursor.
- Preferred: 4 year bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Preferable certifications: LPIC‑1/2/3, RHCE, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS Certified Sys Ops Associate.
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and a physical location in the U.S.; offers are contingent upon verification of citizenship and residency.
- Participation in ongoing security training is mandatory.
- Adherence to established security protocols, responsible handling of sensitive data, and compliance with privacy regulations.
