Job SummaryThe Network Architect is responsible for designing and implementing telecommunication solutions, leveraging extensive knowledge of market trends, technologies, and infrastructure, including both wireline and wireless systems. This role involves analyzing business needs, proposing effective solutions, and communicating their value. The Network Architect may also work on troubleshooting and resolving issues related to telecommunications infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop telecommunications solutions, including wireline and wireless infrastructure.
- Analyze business needs and propose optimal network architectures.
- Evaluate and recommend both customer-owned and third-party service solutions.
- Monitor telecommunications market trends and emerging technologies.
- Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues, implementing necessary fixes.
- Ensure network performance, scalability, and security compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
- Document network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in telecommunications network architecture, including wireline and wireless technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, infrastructure, and security best practices.
- Proven ability to analyze business needs and recommend strategic network solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in network issue resolution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent in networking and telecommunications.
- Experience in cloud networking and SD-WAN technologies.
- Knowledge of network automation and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with third-party telecommunication services and vendor management.
