Overview
As a Senior Product Manager on the Digital team, you will own a portfolio of reusable capabilities within the Customer Data Platform (CDP)—translating business objectives into clear product requirements, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes. You’ll partner closely with Product & Technology leadership, Analytics, Clinical, and Delivery teams to enable secure, compliant, data-driven interactions across channels (Email, SMS, IVR, Bot, Web/Mobile) and accelerate adoption of CDP-powered experiences at scale.
Your mandate is to increase reliability, adoption, and ROI of specific CDP capabilities; simplify the landscape by consolidating overlapping or legacy assets; and make pragmatic build/buy/retire decisions that reduce cost-to-serve and enable personalization at scale.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver reusable components such as dynamic email templates, link management (URL creation, deployment, tracking), and CMS integrations
, ensuring consistency and scalability across engagement teams. - Extend the portfolio to high-value platform enablers—
real-time triggers/streaming events, enhanced data model
—prioritizing based on business impact and user feedback. - Convert strategy into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
; maintain a healthy backlog; drive delivery in partnership with engineering, architecture, and design. - Partner with platform teams to deliver LLM-enabled features, CMS integrations, enterprise design system assets, and 3rd-party vendor capabilities that improve developer and marketer velocity.
- Engage executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners—
marketing, analytics, operations
—to align capability roadmaps with business needs; build enablement (
docs, samples, training
) to accelerate onboarding. - Define and monitor KPIs for capability utilization and business impact
; identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce build time, and increase reuse—aligned to platform OKRs (e.g.,
reduce median build time; increase reusable components share
). - Roadmap ownership:
Prioritize initiatives using data-driven criteria; communicate tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders. - Requirements & delivery:
Write crisp PRDs, acceptance criteria, and experiment plans; partner with engineering on sequencing, technical design, and observability (metrics, tracing, logs). - Capability standardization:
Define patterns, templates, and reference implementations that raise consistency and reduce duplication across lines of business. - Experimentation:
Instrument capabilities for analytics and A/B testing
; quantify uplift, ROI, and cost-to-serve reductions. - Operational readiness:
Coordinate enablement (runbooks, “how-to” docs), release notes, and change management.
- 5–7+ years in digital product management, ideally with platforms or data products; proven record shipping capabilities end-to-end from discovery through launch and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with platform products (data/Mar Tech/CDP/decisioning) driving enterprise adoption at scale.
- Technical fluency across data and event architectures (cloud warehouse/lake, streaming/
CDC
, identity/consent) and observability (metrics, tracing, logs). - Familiarity with CDP/engagement technologies (e.g.,
Adobe RTCDP/Journey Optimizer
, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
, Redpoint) and modern data stacks (
Snowflake
, Databricks
, streaming frameworks). - Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and analytics implementation; exceptional communication skills engaging executive stakeholders.
- Ownership of APIs/SDKs (versioning, deprecation, compatibility) and developer enablement (
docs, samples, quick starts
) with measurable platform KPIs. - Experience evaluating vendor/legacy stacks to consolidate/modernize/retire with business-case rigor and migration planning.
- Evidence of improving developer/marketer experience and driving adoption of reusable components; familiarity with LLM-powered capabilities and content systems.
