Senior SDET – Quality Engineering RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Minneapolis, MN

Responsible for supporting the QE Manager with triage, estimation, and work allocation as the release lead. Provides subject‑matter expertise in test case architecture and design, drives overall quality engineering strategy, and leads execution of operational frameworks, processes, and tools. Works with Nokia‑based automation framework to develop and run automated test scripts, executes test cases manually, and mentors new team members on application architecture and domain knowledge.

Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days per week.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ progressive post‑baccalaureate years.
• 7 years of experience in QE processes, methodologies, and test‑design techniques.
• 5 years of experience with test management tools (JIRA, qTest, Quality Center) and in planning, executing, and reporting on testing activities.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, defect management, and both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
• Proficiency with at least one test‑automation framework (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestNG) and scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Perl; 4+ years of Selenium‑Java automation experience.
• 3+ years of experience with database testing (SQL, Oracle, DB2) and QE test environments across cloud, distributed, mainframe, and API platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with test framework tools (SoapUI, Appium, Rest Assured, Robot Framework).
• Proven ability to measure QE KPIs and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.

Base salary: $124,883 per year. Eligible for discretionary bonus and benefits including 401(k) with company matching, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, and paid time‑off.
