Our client, a long‑time Workday HCM and Financials customer, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Workday Financials Expert to lead and support our Workday Financials initiatives. This role requires deep expertise across the Workday Financials suite, strong hands‑on configuration skills, and proven experience in procurement, supplier management, and strategic sourcing. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, drive optimization, and partner with stakeholders to enhance functionality, streamline processes, and support ongoing operations.

• Serve as the Workday Financials SME, providing expert guidance across key functional areas, including procurement, strategic sourcing, banking & settlement, budgets, expenses, projects.
• Lead configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support for Workday Financials and Procurement modules.
• Partner closely with Finance, Procurement, and cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Drive process improvements and system optimizations to streamline workflows and enhance user experience.
• Support implementation of new Workday Financials functionality, feature releases, and system updates.
• Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and functional specifications.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on Workday best practices, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and system integrity.

• Strong functional experience: configuration, BPs, and requirements gathering.
• Workday Procurement knowledge, including Supplier Management, Purchasing, and Expenses.
• Strong understanding of Strategic Sourcing processes and related Workday capabilities.
• Experience leading Workday projects, enhancements, or full‑life‑cycle implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience with leading cross‑functional, cooperative efforts with team members across departments.
• Self‑starter who thrives in an ever‑changing, fast‑paced business environment.
