Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications for Hashi Corp Vault, Azure, or AWS.Experience architecting and implementing a Secrets Management or PAM solution.

Experience with automation tools and practices.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to Secrets Management, Cryptography, Tokenization, PKI and digital certificates.

Experience providing mentorship and career development opportunities to team members.

Position Overview:

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer with strong security and development background to support a secure centralized Secrets Management System, implement security best practices, manage sensitive information, and work with multi-functional teams to drive adoptions. This role seeks an individual who will help expand Hashicorp Vault's functionality, maximizing its security potential for IT Teams, and make a significant impact on the University of Minnesota’s security posture.
