WhatYou’ll Do
As a Lead Data Engineer at Edmentum, you’ll drive our data strategy, leading complex engineering initiatives that empower teams with reliable, scalable, and insightful data solutions.
- Design and build scalable data pipelines using modern technologies.
- Define and evolve data architecture standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data solutions.
- Optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence.
- Ensure documentation and compliance with data governance policies.
- Highly proficient in Python, SQL, and data engineering frameworks.
- Experienced with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Skilled in ETL processes and pipeline orchestration.
- Strong grasp of data warehousing and modeling.
- Familiar with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
- Collaborative leader who thrives in cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communicator and mentor.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering.

Pay Range: $147,000–$160,000 USD (annual)
