In this role, you will play a crucial part in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the organization with proper setup and system access. You will also provide Level 2 technical support to end users, tackling complex issues related to the installation, configuration, and operation of various hardware and software products. Your expertise will be essential in resolving technical challenges efficiently, while also knowing when to escalate unresolved issues to Level 3 support.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees by ensuring timely setup and access to necessary systems.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support for end users, addressing complex hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshoot installation and configuration problems effectively to minimize downtime.
  • Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system for future reference.
  • Collaborate with Level 3 support teams to collaborate on unresolved issues as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company systems and technologies to provide accurate assistance.
Skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective user interaction.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software installations and configurations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation practices.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a technical support or IT role is preferred.
  • Experience with onboarding processes or training new employees is a plus.
