We’re seeking a Data Engineer to join our remote team and help us solve meaningful problems with clean, scalable data solutions.
What You'll Do- Join the team as a Senior-Level Data Engineer.
- Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines from scratch.
- Work with large, complex datasets using Python and raw SQL.
- Use tools like PySpark, AWS, and Databricks daily.
- Design, build, and optimize high‑performance data pipelines and ETL workflows in Databricks on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate and process healthcare datasets, including claims, EHR, and payer‑provider data.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops best practices to ensure data quality, lineage, and security.
- Deliver data solutions that drive business outcomes for enterprise clients.
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Hands‑on experience with PySpark, AWS, and Databricks.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including at least 5 years hands‑on with Databricks in AWS environments.
- Proven experience working with healthcare datasets (claims data preferred) and understanding of U.S. regulatory standards such as HIPAA.
- Strong foundation in SQL, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with data governance and quality tools such as AWS Glue Data Catalog or Lake Formation.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Fully remote; candidates must be based in regions aligned with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.
CompensationBase pay range: $60,000.00/yr – $/yr. Salary range: $60,000 – $120,000 annually, with final compensation determined by qualifications, experience, and role scope.
