Interim Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Overview

The Interim Payroll & Benefits Specialist will be the primary owner of payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing for a large production workforce. This role is essential while the company goes through some major transitions, and requires an experienced consultant who can step in immediately, manage time and attendance, handle employee questions, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Onsite - South Metro Area

Hourly rate between $45-$55, DOE

• Own full payroll administration and ensure accurate, timely processing
• Manage benefits administration and employee inquiries
• Handle time and attendance management for production employees
• Support ESST and MN Paid Leave administration and compliance
• Partner with People Ops leadership to support process improvements and HR needs

• Strong payroll and benefits administration experience
• UKG payroll/timekeeping experience required
• Manufacturing or production workforce experience
• Experience with MN ESST and MN Paid Leave preferred
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
