Dizario Search is conducting a search for a Human Resources Manager for a growing, family-owned manufacturing company located in a suburb of Minneapolis. The HR Manager will support a non-union, hourly & salaried workforce across multiple shifts. Future growth could include building a small HR support team as the business scales.

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities
  • Serve as the on-site HR point of contact for 100+ employees across 24/5 operations
  • Support talent, performance, onboarding, employee relations, investigations, and hourly recruiting
  • Partner with site leadership to drive workforce engagement, coaching, and performance alignment
  • Manage local compliance including MN-specific requirements (LOA, ADA/FMLA, pay transparency, safety, etc.)
  • Represent HR during site leadership meetings and customer visits
  • Maintain visibility across shifts; flex schedule as needed to support 2nd/3rd shift access
  • Support payroll, benefits, and HRIS workflows (centralized at HQ)
  • Champion workplace culture and engagement across a diverse, multicultural workforce
  • Bridge site and corporate HR; operate effectively in a matrix environment
  • Contribute to ongoing operational maturation and change initiatives
HR Manager Qualifications
  • 5+ years progressive HR experience; manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Experience as an on-site HR partner in an hourly workforce environment
  • High emotional intelligence with ability to influence, coach, and handle tough conversations
  • Proven ability to support culturally diverse employee populations
  • Strong associate relations, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Experience with modern HRIS systems (Workday a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; SHRM/SCP/SPHR certifications a plus
  • Ability to flex schedule occasionally for multi-shift visibility
