Description

We are looking for a dynamic Compliance Manager to support our Twin Cities based client on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the compliance department by conducting and managing investigations, often with financial or employee relations components. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work within the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough investigations, including interviewing relevant parties.

- Document findings, analyze data, and present well-informed recommendations to support compliance efforts.

- Collaborate with Human Resources on investigations involving employee relations matters.

- Identify and assess risks related to compliance and recommend appropriate actions.

- Maintain clear and accurate records of all compliance activities and investigations.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on compliance issues.

- Stay informed about evolving compliance regulations and best practices to guide organizational policies.

Requirements

- Proven experience in compliance, legal, and investigation roles.

- Strong investigative skills, including interviewing, documentation, and analysis.

- Familiarity with financial and employee relations investigations.

- Ability to work effectively with virtual tools for communication.

- Knowledge of privacy regulations and practices is desirable but not required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.

- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to analyze and interpret complex information.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all compliance activities.
