Valet Attendant

Purpose:

Create a strong sense of arrival for hotel, restaurant and banquet guests by welcoming them to the hotel and safely parking their car in the hotel garage. Assist Door Attendants by opening front door when not parking cars. Assure that guests’ departure is swift by retrieving guests’ cars in a timely manner. Greet guests who arrive by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel, and assist in their arrival experience Retrieve valet cars for guests departing from the hotel, assisting with luggage, car door and their departure experience Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system.

Consistently complete location on all key tags after parking vehicle. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed

Ability to drive all types of vehicles, including manual stick Ability to work outside for majority of shift and be mobile/standing for 100% of shift

Ability to push and pull luggage carts with weight up to 200 pounds. Ability to lift or carry luggage/ boxes up to 100 pounds
