Security Officer – Hilton Minneapolis

Hilton Minneapolis is searching for Security Officers to join their team. Located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis and directly connected by covered skyways to the Minneapolis Convention Center and the Minnesota Orchestra, the property offers guests access to nearby enterprise car rental, Nicollet Mall, restaurants, Target Field, indoor pool, sauna, Starbucks coffee, UPS store, and all‑day dining on site. Our hotel spans over 800,000 sq ft and includes 826 guest rooms and 44 meeting rooms.

The current wage for this role is $20.00 per hour plus a $2.00 differential for overnight shifts.

• Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.
• Respond to emergency situations including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life or property.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
• Write reports and ensure accuracy of necessary documentation.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
