- Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check‑ins/check‑outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations.
- Secure payment; verify and adjust billing.
- Process all guest requests and relay messages.
- Print contingency lists to record all guests in case of emergency.
- Ensure that any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day are prioritized and resolved.
- Accept and record wake‑up call requests and deliver to appropriate department.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift; secure bank.
- Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid‑outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges; provide change.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; maintain confidentiality and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate and address their service needs.
- Assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards; work standing, sitting or walking for an extended period.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
- Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
- FOSSE experience a plus.
- Weekends and holidays – a MUST!
- Reliable, friendly, and able to make guests feel welcomed and cared for.
- Passionate about excellent customer service with thorough follow‑up and attention to detail; effective English communication skills.
- Good mathematical and computer skills, including ability to use hotel software.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time with ability to lift/pull up to 20 pounds.
- Self‑managing, responsible, reliable individual knowledgeable on hotel departments and functions who can proactively work across departments.
