The Chambers Hotel – MCR Universal Role Standards. The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. Areas of excellence include Happy Guests, Spotless Cleanliness, Product Consistency & Quality, and Teamwork. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.
Responsibilities- Pre-Cleaning and Stocking:
Complete all pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and tools on the assigned work cart, attending morning stand-up, and handling dirty linen in housekeeping as needed. - Clean and Stock Rooms:
Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms as assigned per shift. - Additional Cleaning Projects:
As assigned by direct supervisor, including storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and room deep cleaning activities. Maintain organization and cleanliness in front and back of house areas. - Hospitality While Cleaning:
Greet guests with a smile and address them by name when possible. - Pitching In:
Cooperate with the team to ensure cleanliness and safety across the hotel.

- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise, or related field preferred.
- Can-Do Attitude:
Positive, willing to learn. - Ability to Follow Guidelines:

Perform well in stressful situations. - Listening and Conflict Resolution:
Effectively listen to and resolve concerns of co-workers and guests. - Communication
Skills:
Clear conveyance of information and ideas. - Hospitality and Guest Service:
Desire to serve all guests. - Age Requirement: 18 years or older.
- Schedule and Travel:
Varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays as required. - Clock-in/Out:
Punctuality and adherence to scheduled times; no working off the clock. - Breaks:
Clock in/out for breaks as scheduled. - Call Outs:
Provide notice when calling out as directed by supervisor.
Ability to perform duties requiring bending, standing, walking, lifting, and other physical activities described as part of the role.
