- TITLE: Part Time Nutrition Services Associate - entry level kitchen worker position
- LOCATION: PARK TERRACE ELEMENTARY
- HOURS: 5.50 HOURS/DAY; 8:30 - 2:00
- DUTY DAYS: 168 STUDENT CONTACT days based on school year calendar;
September-June & Two training days in August - START DATE: JANUARY 12, 2026
- RATE: $20.30/hr benefits:
Sick Leave. Additional $1.00/hour differential for Certified Food Manager. Longevity pay $1.50-$2.75/hr
- Nutrition Services team serves students in grades K-4, delivering over 300 breakfasts and 400 lunches per day.
- Perform duties as assigned by the kitchen manager, including food prep, serving, cashiering, and operating a dish machine.
- Maintain a friendly, professional attitude when interacting with students, staff, and co‑workers.
- Attend job‑related training classes and workshops (4 hours/year) to meet professional standards guidelines.
- Follow Department Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
- Maintain high standards and working knowledge of food safety and sanitation pursuant to the Minnesota Food Code.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background check and pre‑work physical.
- Pass three professional reference checks.
- Working knowledge of computers, including email.
- Experience in the food service industry.
- Pleasant disposition toward students while serving breakfast and lunch.
