Job SummaryLead strategic oversight of external hub service providers responsible for delivering patient access and support programs. Ensure vendor operations align corporate goals, compliance requirements, and high‑quality patient experience standards. Establish performance benchmarks, oversee governance structures, and partner cross‑functionally to deliver timely, effective, and compliant services to patients, providers, and payers.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead strategy and governance for all external hub patient services vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation and executive contact for hub vendor leadership.
- Define program objectives, KPIs, and SLAs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee vendor performance monitoring, reporting, and corrective action planning.
- Partner with Patient Services, Commercial Operations, Market Access, and Legal & Compliance to optimize hub operations and patient journey.
- Ensure processes and programs comply with regulatory, legal, and privacy standards.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with vendors to assess performance, innovations, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Manage budget and contract negotiations for vendor agreements.
- Represent hub vendor capabilities in cross‑functional planning for new product launches or program enhancements.
- Mentor and develop the vendor management team to support operational excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing hub team.
- Proven leadership and strategic planning skills in managing external partnerships.
- Strong understanding of rare disease patient access and support services, reimbursement, and specialty pharmacy coordination.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience managing budgets and compliance‑sensitive programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, life sciences, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in patient services, hub operations, or vendor management within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Rare Disease Patient Services experience highly preferred.
