Echo Tech​/Cardiac Sonographer

Duties

• The primary responsibilities involve conducting a variety of echo cardiographic procedures including 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and Treadmill Stress Echo.
• The department scans between 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes daily.
• Occasional on-call duties may be required, and weekend work is dependent on the schedule.
• Clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs.

• Certifications:
  
  BLS and RDCS - Adults Required. RDCS-Peds Preferred.
• Work Setting
  
  Experience:
  
  Inpatient and ER required. Outpatient, Teaching hospital, PICU, Neonate, and NICU preferred.
• General
  
  Skills:
  
  Portables and Syngo Required. IV Starts, PACS, and Biopsies preferred.
• Equipment/Scanner Experience Preferred:
  Siemens and Phillips.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital is preferred.
• Experience with adolescents is preferred but not required.
