• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and ensure readiness for procedures.
• Restock and manage procedural supplies (catheters, guide wires, contrast agents).
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and team members to provide seamless care.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
• Adhere to hospital safety and regulatory standards; perform other duties as assigned to support IR lab operations.

Required Qualifications
:

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Preferred Qualifications
:

• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

• English language proficiency for reading, writing, and communication.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; PC skills.
• Physical: ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push/pull, and bend.
• Interpersonal: ability to work with diverse personnel professionally.
• Technical: ability to assist with procedures and operate department equipment.
• Mental: ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle irregular schedules; ability to work with or without supervision as required.

Job . Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
