Provide clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention and resource mobilization for families and children who have complex psycho‑social and emotional needs in a multi‑disciplinary pediatric hospital setting. Pediatric social workers provide these services to children 0‑18 years of age and their families. This position is intended for a strong LGSW social worker who may occasionally work in tandem with the on‑site LICSW social worker while providing services hospital wide.

  Minnesota State LGSW, LICSW preferred
• Education
  :
  Master’s degree in social work required
• Experience
  :
  • Experience providing crisis intervention
  • Two years of experience with counseling in a health‑care related setting or two years of experience in a pediatric related setting or completion of a graduate internship in either of the above settings
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  :
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Ability to provide good, clear documentation of work
