Interventional Radiology

Duties

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization.
• Manage venous access including central venous lines and ports.
• Conduct neurological studies and procedures such as carotid angiography and vertebroplasty.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed, with 0-4 assignments per month.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.

• Proficiency in using Epic charting system.
• Ability to perform special procedures like chemo embolization and radio frequency ablation.
• Experience with Siemens procedural equipment and devices.
• Knowledge of infection control and isolation precautions.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
• Certifications required: ARRT R and BLS.
• Experience in inpatient, operating room, ER, and interventional radiology settings.
• Strong neuro skill set is a requirement.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
