Job Overview
We are seeking an occupational therapist to join our inpatient team at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center West Bank Hospital in Minneapolis!
In collaboration with patients and families, the occupational therapist is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes.
- FTE 1.0, authorized for 80 hours per pay period.
- Schedule:

Fairview Rehabilitation offers a range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. Consisting of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy as well as Audiology and Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, our therapists collaborate with colleagues in all medical settings and offer dozens of specialty programs.

Responsibilities- The occupational therapist partners with the patient and family while performing the Evaluation/Re-evaluation
- Gathers pertinent data
- Performs examination
- Determines treatment diagnosis
- Develops an individualized plan of care through coordination with the patient and family
- Analyzes data to identify needs and potential risks
- Determines prognosis for recovery} etc.
