Pediatric Outpatient Dietitian

Sodexo is seeking a part time (32 hours/week)
Registered Dietitian to provide pediatric outpatient care in our new Pediatric Weight Management program at Children's Minnesota, a 400 bed Level 1 Trauma Center in Minneapolis, MN.

This position will provide coverage (both in person and remotely) across multiple pediatric clinics as part of a dedicated pediatric nutrition team. This is a great opportunity to deepen your practice on a supportive cross functional team and build a program from the ground up.

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Creds requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials are required at the time of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
• Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.

• offer compassionate pediatric nutrition care in the outpatient setting;
• educate patients and their families in one-on-one and group environments;
• support performance improvement/quality management initiatives and participate in research, as available;
• provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals;
• precept dietetic interns (as assigned).

Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
