The Post‑Master’s Fellowship is an applied, clinical role that provides psychotherapy to a variety of clients while participating in a structured training program. Fellows work under direct supervision, contribute to team meetings, and are part of an interprofessional training cohort.
Job Duties- Provide psychological services including diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and discharge planning under supervision
- Carry and maintain a psychotherapy caseload as assigned, either in‑clinic or in‑home depending on the clinical program track
- Provide individual, couples, group, or family psychotherapy as assigned by supervisor based on prior preparation, established learning goals, and program need
- Attend and actively participate in individual and/or group supervision, case consultation, training activities, Grand Rounds, team meetings, and other meetings as required
- Conduct at least two formal, scholarly presentations during the two‑year fellowship, one to colleagues and one to the public
- Other duties as assigned
Successful candidates will have a track record of sequential, scaffolded learning experiences and will be interpersonally secure, open, flexible, curious, and potential to positively impact the profession.
- A master’s degree in psychology, clinical counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or a similar field from a regionally‑accredited academic program
- Successful completion of a clinically focused, master’s‑level practicum or internship involving diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy
- A declared mental health licensure track such as LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC in Minnesota and compliance with licensure requirements and supervised practice obligations
- A completed master’s‑level clinical practicum placement focused on outpatient psychotherapy, with at least 9–12 months of clinic‑based formation; remote or telehealth practicum placements are not considered

The fellowship also offers key learning experiences such as licensure supervision, licensing exam preparation help, an interdisciplinary training cohort, structured supervision hours, case consultation, seminars, and grand rounds.
CompensationThe hiring range for this role is $51,000–$90,000 per year, based on qualifications, caseload, program fit, and the candidate’s program choice. This is a W2, salaried position with consistent pay; pay‑for‑performance models are available at the candidate’s election.
