DepartmentOverview
The pharmacy department is staffed by registered pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians trained in pediatric pharmacy. We provide inpatient and ambulatory medication management, compounding, IV production, and medication therapy management across inpatient, outpatient, and home infusion settings. Our pharmacists partner with providers for daily medication rounds and participate in residency education.
Position SummaryThe Pharmacy Technician I assists a registered pharmacist with dispensing medical prescriptions and supporting pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include collecting and inputting new and refill prescriptions, maintaining patient information, and performing tasks after internal training. Technicians are expected to multi‑task, perform repetitive tasks accurately, and train new staff upon achieving proficiency.
License/Certification/Registration RequiredActive technician registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy or active registration as a pharmacy intern in MN with enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy. Completion of 240 hours of practical and theoretical training for newly registered technicians is required within twelve months of hire.

Compensation and BenefitsThe posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles. In addition to salary, the position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions requiring night, weekend, or on‑call work may receive shift differentials or premium pay.
