- The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides individual, couples, and family therapy to a diverse client population under clinical supervision.
- This position is ideal for therapists seeking hours toward full licensure and committed to culturally responsive, trauma‑informed care.
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy services to clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Develop treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards.
- Deliver trauma‑informed, evidence‑based, and culturally relevant interventions.
- Participate in case consultation, team meetings, and supervision.
- Support outreach, wellness programming, or community engagement initiatives as aligned with your interests.
- Maintain timely documentation according to agency standards.
- Maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements.
- Attend weekly supervision and team meetings.
- Uphold ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA compliance.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- Commitment to culturally responsive, anti‑oppressive mental health care.
- Strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working with clients virtually and/or in person.
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Pursuing licensure to practice as a Psychotherapist or equivalent certification.
- Strong understanding of therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing empathetic care while maintaining professional boundaries.
