• Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines
  • Identifies patient with two identifiers.
  • Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure.
  • Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs.
  • Maintains safe patient environment in the procedure area.
• Performs procedures with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintains work knowledge and competence.
  • Collects all relevant information to assist in interpretation of images.
  • Verifies that all imaging has appropriately transferred to the imaging storage and retrieval system.
• Provides accurate clerical function
  • Uses Excellian (electronic medical record).
  • Understands the Enterprise Medical Imaging/Picture Archiving and Communication System.
  • Ensures all documentation is complete after the procedure.
• Communicates with supervisor and team
  • Reports problems, issues or ideas.
  • Provides assistance, ideas and information to support the work of others.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Vocational or technical training – Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• 0 to 2 years of experience in radiology.

• Registered Technologist – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must be registered upon hire.
• BLS Tier 1 – Basic Life Support – Multi‑source certification required upon hire.

• Medium work – lifts up to 32 lbs occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy); 25 lbs frequently.
• 8‑hour evening shifts; every 3rd weekend.
• 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two‑week pay period).

Pay range: $34.63 to $49.10 per hour. The base hourly rate varies with experience, education, and union agreement. Shift, weekend and other differentials may increase pay.
