Responsibilities- Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines
- Identifies patient with two identifiers.
- Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure.
- Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs.
- Maintains safe patient environment in the procedure area.
- Performs procedures with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment.
- Maintains work knowledge and competence.
- Collects all relevant information to assist in interpretation of images.
- Verifies that all imaging has appropriately transferred to the imaging storage and retrieval system.
- Provides accurate clerical function
- Uses Excellian (electronic medical record).
- Understands the Enterprise Medical Imaging/Picture Archiving and Communication System.
- Ensures all documentation is complete after the procedure.
- Communicates with supervisor and team
- Reports problems, issues or ideas.
- Provides assistance, ideas and information to support the work of others.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Vocational or technical training – Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in radiology.
- Registered Technologist – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must be registered upon hire.
- BLS Tier 1 – Basic Life Support – Multi‑source certification required upon hire.
- Medium work – lifts up to 32 lbs occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy); 25 lbs frequently.
- 8‑hour evening shifts; every 3rd weekend.
- 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two‑week pay period).
Pay range: $34.63 to $49.10 per hour. The base hourly rate varies with experience, education, and union agreement. Shift, weekend and other differentials may increase pay.
