Account Supervisor, Public Sector Communications & Research

Rapp Strategies, Inc., a Minneapolis-based strategic communications firm specializing in issue and reputation management, is seeking an Account Supervisor to help lead public sector communications and research initiatives. This role supports local governments and community-serving organizations as they plan initiatives, engage residents, and make informed decisions.

The Account Supervisor will manage client relationships, guide communications strategy, and oversee research projects that inform public engagement efforts. Responsibilities include developing clear messaging around complex issues, coordinating internal teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple accounts. The role also involves overseeing surveys and qualitative research, interpreting findings, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.

Ideal candidates have experience in public sector, political, or related communications; strong writing and client management skills; and experience leading staff. Familiarity with local government decision-making and comfort working in dynamic, public-facing environments are essential. This is a full-time, senior-level position with in-person work and regular travel.
