The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Senior Director of Finance & Accounting in preparing detailed analytical support to improve business performance. This position assists with providing financial and operational analytics, budgeting and forecasting, trend analysis, business insights, qualitative assessment of risks and opportunities, and recommendations based on advanced financial analysis. In addition, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key leader in aligning system capabilities with the organization’s strategic goals.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting.
Assist in the Development and Maintenance of Models
Manage Monthly Analytical Data
- Set up monthly meetings with Finance and Accounting to review monthly close status
- Update monthly models and reporting and review with Senior Director of Accounting and Finance
- Investigate variances between budget and actuals independently.
Assist in Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting Process
- Collaborate across departments to prepare accurate budgets/forecasts and to recommend and establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve margin and cost efficiencies.
- Review and challenge, as appropriate, key assumptions, drivers, and metrics used to develop budget and forecasts.
- Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast, and budget.
- Understand organizational reporting needs, financial acumen, identify gaps in system capabilities and end-user skills, and provide support and recommendations.
Be self-directed and use data to help management make decisions.
Performs other related duties, including project work, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
Experience: 5+ years experience in Finance or related field. Ability to utilize all aspects of technology, including computer hardware and software. Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions. Ability or familiarity with Google Sheets, Net Suite, NS Planning & Budgeting. Strong analytical and data gathering skills. Good business acumen.
The salary range for this role is: $65k to $85k per year.
