Summary

of the Job:

This position will provide pivotal support services for the trading teams, while working closely with Operations, Compliance, and Sales teams. Duties range from administrative, operational, compliance and trading involvement. Additionally, interaction with trading personnel at other firms may be necessary. Qualifications for the position include the ability to thrive in a fast paced trading environment, exhibiting adeptness in multi-tasking, attention to details, regulatory compliance and maintain focus.

About This Role:
  • Design and maintain comprehensive reports tailored for upper management, supporting the compliance and regulatory requirements of the desk.
  • Execute administrative functions with precision, encompassing resolution of trade discrepancies, trade ticket entries, ensuring trade comparison and settlement processes, and diligent maintenance of trading files.
  • New Issue Closing Coordinator. Including DTCC eligibility and the coordination of wiring funds on closing date and handling the Closing call.
  • Collaborate with management, traders and compliance to ensure regulatory trade reporting requirements are met.
  • Provide support in Fixed Income Trade facilitation.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

  • Possesses outstanding organization skills, works efficiently and accurately, is detail oriented, and has the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, self-starting ethos, with a penchant for cultivating professional relationships.
  • Possess comprehensive regulatory knowledge or the ability to learn regulatory and company policies and procedures.
  • Technology proficiency, especially with Bloomberg, Microsoft Word and Excel, and other fixed income sales and trading related systems.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Display initiative and resourcefulness in tackling complex challenges, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in evolving contexts.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Financial services industry experience, preferably in fixed income
  • Willingness to get licensed, Series 7 and 63
  • Organizational skills and writing proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Registration Requirement:

This position requires Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registration. Qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial industry responsibility, regulatory requirements, credit fitness and criminal background standards. Successful candidates must meet ongoing regulatory requirements including acceptable background investigation, credit report and fingerprinting results.
