I’m partnering with a well-established, growth‑oriented real estate investment and operating organization is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management functions. This position partners closely with executive leadership and plays a key role in driving financial accuracy, process improvement, and operational efficiency across a multi‑entity environment.

• Financial Leadership
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations
• Manage cash flow, treasury activities, and financial reporting
• Support payroll processing and related accounting processes
• Lead commission accounting, reconciliations, and reporting
• Oversee corporate credit card programs and spending controls
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Produce accurate monthly financial statements and supporting analysis
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Partner with leadership on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation with external partners
• Support internal controls and continuously improve processes Leadership & Team Management
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to accounting staff
• Monitor team performance and conduct performance reviews
• Recommend staffing and compensation adjustments as needed
• Foster collaboration across departments

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
• Strong background in general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting
• Experience in a multi‑entity environment preferred
• Industry experience within real estate, construction, or investment services
• Prior supervisory experience required
• CPA or similar certification preferred
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Yardi or similar platforms a plus)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Ability to translate data into meaningful insights for leadership
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving ability
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting timelines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with a hands‑on leadership style
