Director of Financial Reporting

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Financial Reporting to oversee financial reporting, corporate accounting, audit and tax coordination, and treasury functions. This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial statements, optimizing system usage, maintaining compliance with partnership, lending, and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with leadership to enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and cross-functional efficiency.

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Oversee financial reporting, corporate accounting, audit and tax coordination, and treasury functions.
• Optimize system usage and maintain compliance with partnership, lending, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and cross-functional efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
• Prior experience in Real Estate and/or Public Accounting is a plus
• 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Strong background with Partnership structures and waterfall calculations
• Excellent analytical, judgment, and communication abilities
• Systems experience required;
  Yardi experience highly preferred
