Overview

We are actively seeking a Finance & Accounting Professional to join MMC Consulting in our Finance & Management Consulting Practice. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in client service, seamlessly integrating into our clients’ teams and projects to deliver specialized finance and accounting solutions to meet their business needs.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement reviews, process improvement, financial reporting, data visualization, general accounting support, and developing tailored solutions for clients. Education & Experience:

• BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or related field
• CPA preferred
• 6+ years of professional experience
• Prior client service experience & working on projects is preferred
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Relevant experience in multiple industries preferred

• Use accounting knowledge to make recommendations to clients as they navigate significant business transformations
• Assist clients in the preparation of trial balances and financial statements (compiled and reviewed), including, but not limited to, reconciling cash, accounts payable, income and expense analysis, and accrued liabilities
• Conduct research and analysis related to complex accounting transactions, develop memos, analyses, and other client-facing deliverables
• Analyze and evaluate internal controls related to financial risks
• Develop and implement strategies and procedures to improve internal controls
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Provide support to client pre/during/post system implementation
• Document client processes and make recommendations for improvement

• Assist clients with various FP&A needs, including budgeting and forecasting for sales, inventory, and operations
• Assist clients through transactions

• Completion of the firm's proprietary training program(s)
• Participation in team engagement activities
• Participation in ad-hoc internal operational projects, as needed
• Travel to client locations and MMC office is required

This role offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a strong base salary and performance-based bonuses. The base salary range is $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
