We are actively seeking a Finance & Accounting Professional to join MMC Consulting in our Finance & Management Consulting Practice. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in client service, seamlessly integrating into our clients’ teams and projects to deliver specialized finance and accounting solutions to meet their business needs.

RoleAs a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement reviews, process improvement, financial reporting, data visualization, general accounting support, and developing tailored solutions for clients. RequirementsEducation & Experience:
- BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or related field
- CPA preferred
- 6+ years of professional experience
- Prior client service experience & working on projects is preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Relevant experience in multiple industries preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Use accounting knowledge to make recommendations to clients as they navigate significant business transformations
- Assist clients in the preparation of trial balances and financial statements (compiled and reviewed), including, but not limited to, reconciling cash, accounts payable, income and expense analysis, and accrued liabilities
- Conduct research and analysis related to complex accounting transactions, develop memos, analyses, and other client-facing deliverables
- Analyze and evaluate internal controls related to financial risks
- Develop and implement strategies and procedures to improve internal controls
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Provide support to client pre/during/post system implementation
- Document client processes and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist clients with various FP&A needs, including budgeting and forecasting for sales, inventory, and operations
- Assist clients through transactions
- Completion of the firm's proprietary training program(s)
- Participation in team engagement activities
- Participation in ad-hoc internal operational projects, as needed
- Travel to client locations and MMC office is required
This role offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a strong base salary and performance-based bonuses. The base salary range is $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
In addition to base salary, the bonus opportunities and incentive compensation are tied to individual achievements and overall company success. At MMC, your impact is directly rewarded.
Individual compensations is determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, business needs, and applicable regulations.
